We have been feeling extremely board recently with all this rain. Thankfully today the sun was shining and even though it was a little windy and chilly we needed to get out. I had to make a post office run so I parked and then just decided to do some walking through town. I looove this part of our town, it's so old and beautiful and full of history. I didn't take as many pictures as I meant to... oh well, gives me an excuse to go back soon.

We sick yall!! Yes, that's right the kids that I was just bragging about being so healthy are now coughing and barfing and snotting.
It's ten o clock and I just cleaned up barf from Brandon's bed and the floor.
I don't believe this to be from actual stomach upset as much as from the coughing. The kid has a very touchy gag reflex!
So the past couple of days have been full runny noses and coughing. Last night I thought for sure a dog was barking only to realize it was Aubrey coughing. Oops!
Luckily we are not sick enough to stop going to the park. We spent about 4 hours there today fishing and enjoying God's beauty and I do believe it made us feel better to get out.
But what I reeeally want to talk about is my new venture!
I want to start out by saying I LOOOVE to thrift and shop and find awesome things at the thrift store. I just love it. I don't know why but it really has become a hobby of mine to thrift.
I have gotten so many great things and deals and it's just so much fun! I would 100 times rather go to a thrift store than to the mall.
The other thing that I've been doing is VIRTUAL YARD SALES! I can't stop!!! And that has been the true catalyst into my new path!
I have decided to combine my love of shopping and thrifting into a (hopefully) money making opportunity by selling on
EBAY!!!
I'm so excited and wish I would have started so much sooner! The possibility of being able to contribute to supporting our family financially makes me so happy.
If you don't know yet, there is some amazing opportunities to make money on Ebay.
For some reason I never thought I could do it. But I am doing it!! And I love it!!
At some point when I'm not between cleaning throw up and cleaning noses I will be doing a post of things that I'm finding and selling. I can't wait to share it with you all! Have a great night everyone!
Where is the time going? I can't believe we are already half way through April! I love this time of year and especially the weather!
We have gotten spring fever and started a few seeds.
We also planted an Elephant Ear bulb, I'm excited to see how it looks when it pops up.
The kids love watering the plants.
This was the other night after the kids were all asleep. Hubby and I have been having some serious chess battles lately and with the chocolate covered strawberries it's almost as good as any night out...Almost.
This morning was interesting. Aubrey had pictures for soccer at 8:00AM!
Hubby had to work so it was all me today.
Were we there on time???
Uhhh... that would be a no.
I woke up and looked at the clock and it was 7:35. Now, any other morning Brandon and Emma would have been awake and bouncing off walls at 7:00 on the dot. But of course on this morning, they were still sound asleep.
We got dressed, ate some eggs that I cooked in the microwave.
YES I SAID IT, I cook eggs (sometimes) in the microwave. Don't judge me!
We got to the field at about 8:20 and found Aubrey's team, which were all standing together waiting....
For us.
Did I remember money for the pictures?
No.
Was Emma wearing anything but a onsie?
No. But I did bring her an outfit, she just didn't have it on yet.
Was Aubrey's hair brushed?
NO! Who do you think I am?
I completely felt like THAT Mom. You know, the one who never has it together, kids are running wild with mats in their hair. Looks disheveled and about to have a nervous breakdown.
All the while looking at the other Moms who seem to have everything worked out, looking great with brushed hair. Kids standing attentively at their sides.
Oh well, I guess we all feel like that sometimes... Right??
We still had a good time though and we can't wait until next weekend when Daddy will be around to help!
After we had been home for awhile we decided to take a little walk and we found a little treasure.
A little Robin's egg. We put it in a safe place and are hoping to find more.
And lastly, I have to show the cutest little video ever of my sweetness. She is so cute and just this past week she learned a new 'trick'. She's actually been doing it for a few weeks but now she will do it when we ask her to.
